My name is Clare and I live with my husband Martin in the village of West Bergholt, which is situated approximately four miles outside the historic town of Colchester in North Essex.
We are experienced hobby cat breeders, and have been breeding cats for more years than I care to (or can) remember. I have had my prefix Ragidan since 1974!
It is difficult to breed a perfect cat for the showbench, so most of our kittens go as much loved pets.
We have bred and owned some wonderful cats over the years, not the least being U.K Grand Premier Ragidan Choc Minty (13c13), who is pictured above, U.K. Imperial Grand Champion Nicadaemus Danse Defeu (13c5) pictured below, Champion and Premier Josanlee Ragidan Tabitha (13c11), Premier Ragidan Monty Blanc (13c2), Champion and Premier Typically Tailor Maid (28), Champion Ragidan Chocolate-Biscuit (13c9), her daughter Champion Ragidan Thistledown (13c14), Premier Ragidan Tiny Tim (13c3), Champion Kamasaki Atilla The Hunni (13c1) and UK Imperial Grand Champion Nicadaemus Sirocco (13c13) who has now been neutered and is living the fireside dream!.
The Birman colours we breed are:
Seal and Blue
Chocolate and Lilac
Red and Cream
Tabby in all of the above.
